ClaimSafe – Privacy policy

ClaimSafe (“the app”) is provided by Seadusta (Estonia, EU), contact support@seadusta.ee. This policy explains what data the app processes when a merchant installs it on a Shopify store.

Data we process

• Store data: shop domain and an access token issued by Shopify, needed to run the app.
• Product content: product titles, descriptions and SEO text, read to detect environmental claims, and product metafields the merchant chooses to fill (manufacturer, EU responsible person, safety information).
• Scan results: detected sentences, suggestions and the original text of fields you changed (for undo).
• Default GPSR values you enter in the app.

The app does not access or store customer or order data, and does not use cookies for tracking.

Sub-processors

• Shopify Inc. – platform and billing.
• Render Services, Inc. – application hosting.
• Google LLC (Gemini API) – sentences that may contain environmental claims are sent for analysis. Only product text is sent, never customer data.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept while the app is installed. When you uninstall the app, Shopify sends a shop/redact request 48 hours later and we delete all data stored for your store. You can request deletion at any time by email.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, correction or deletion of your data by writing to support@seadusta.ee. You may also lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (www.aki.ee).
